As part of the D4 TEEB for Citizens, TEEB teamed up with Mofilm to run a film competition. Participants were asked to submit videos which communicated “Why Nature is so precious to me.” The top five wining videos were showcased at Nagoya on Monday October 25th during the TEEB session “TEEB4me,” which saw professionals from advertising, the media and the NGO sector explore how to communicate the value of nature using channels from film, advertising and journalism to social media. Alongside cash and holiday prizes, the winning video will also be shown at the International Rome Film Festival.
