Project Description:

In 2011, the TEEB Korea Committee was tentatively established to translate the existing TEEB reports, promote their messages, and raise awareness among policymakers, businesses, and ordinary citizens. The presentations were made at various occasions, notably at the WWF Earth Hour Korea Event in March 2012 and TEDx Sinchon City 2.0 in October 2012. And the video presentation by the TEEB Study Leader, Mr. Pavan Sukhdev, together with TEEB exhibition booth and the Korean version of the TEEB Synthesis Report and TEEB for Business (executive summary) was introduced during the TEDxNature+, organized by the TEDx Korea team, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and IUCN WCC organizing committee.

Current status: The TEEB Synthesis Report, TEEB for Business (executive summary), TEEB Manual for Cities and TEEB for Policymakers were translated and an edited version of TEEB report series, customized for the Korean public, is planned to be published in December 2012.
