Forty-fourth Session: “Making a Difference in Food Security and Nutrition”
Rome, Italy, 9-13 October 2017
The vision of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) is to be the most inclusive international and intergovernmental platform for all stakeholders to work together in a coordinated way to ensure food security and nutrition for all. It underwent reform in 2009 to ensure that the voices of other stakeholders were heard in the global debate on food security and nutrition. The Committee reports to the UN General Assembly through the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and to FAO Conference.
Registration for CFS 44 is now open. Member Countries should register in the password protected areas of the Members’ Gateway.
Participants should send an email with their full name, organization and a photograph (headshot) to CFSfirstname.lastname@example.org
Civil Society, the Private Sector and Observers should register their Expression of Interest here.
The deadline for expression of interest is 18 September 2017. For expressions of interest submitted before 1 September 2017, approval emails will be sent out between 4-5 September 2017. For those submitted after 1 September 2017, approval emails will be sent out between 21-22 September 2017.
